Because compounded drugs are not FDA-approved, FDA does not verify their safety, effectiveness, or quality before they are marketed. In addition, poor compounding practices can result in serious drug quality problems, such as contamination or a drug that contains too much or too little active ingredient. Indications & Usage

Arbli is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) indicated for:1

  • Treatment of hypertension, to lower blood pressure in adults and children greater than 6 years old
  • Reduction of the risk of stroke in patients with hypertension and left ventricular hypertrophy
  • Treatment of diabetic nephropathy with an elevated serum creatinine and proteinuria in patients with type 2 diabetes and a history of hypertension

Arbli is contraindicated for patients with hypersensitivity to any component. Arbli is also contraindicated for co-administration with aliskiren in patients with diabetes.
